We are seeking an experienced Warehouse Manager to oversee daily warehouse operations within a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This is a hands-on leadership role responsible for managing inventory, dispatch, inbound materials, and a warehouse team while ensuring products more efficiently through the supply chain.

You’ll play a key role in maintaining smooth warehouse operations, supporting production requirements, and driving continuous improvement across processes, systems, and safety practices.

About the Role

Reporting into the Operations Manager, you will take ownership of warehouse performance and ensure goods are received, stored and dispatched accurately and efficiently.

This role suits someone who enjoys balancing leadership, organisation and process improvement in a busy manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage day-to-day warehouse operations including receiving, storage, picking and dispatch
• Supervise and develop a small warehouse team, ensuring productivity and engagement
• Maintain accurate inventory levels and oversee stock control processes
• Coordinate inbound materials and outbound shipments to support production and customer delivery schedules
• Ensure all warehouse activities meet health & safety and compliance standards
• Identify and implement process improvements to optimise warehouse efficiency
• Work closely with production, procurement and logistics teams to ensure smooth operational flow
• Manage warehouse systems, documentation and reporting

About You

• Proven experience in a Warehouse Manager or Warehouse Supervisor role within manufacturing or distribution
• Strong leadership experience managing warehouse teams
• Solid understanding of inventory management and warehouse systems (WMS/ERP)
• Experience coordinating dispatch, freight and logistics processes
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
• A proactive approach with a focus on continuous improvement
• Sound knowledge of health and safety practices in a warehouse environment
