Payroll Officer

• 2 Days a Week l Ongoing Temporary Assignment

Key Responsibilities

Payroll Processing

• Entering, checking, and maintaining employee timesheets and leave
• Calculating wages, allowance, bonuses, and overtime
• Ensuring accuracy of tax, KiwiSaver, and other statutory deductions

Compliance & Reporting

• Staying up to date with NZ employment legislation and payroll requirements
• Processing IRD filings
• Ensure payroll is processed within deadlines

Employee Support

• Answering any payroll related queries
• Setting up new employees
• Maintaining accurate employee records

Systems & Administration

• Maintaining confidentiality and data integrity
• Support with onboarding documentation
• Assist with process improvements or system upgrades

We Anticipate the Successful Candidate Will

• Have experience with NZ payroll legislation
• Ideally experience using iPayroll
• Demonstrate high attention to detail
• Maintain a confident level of communication
