About the Role

A well-established transport operator is seeking an experienced Operations Supervisor to lead and coordinate daily activities across transport operations. This role is focused on ensuring the smooth planning, execution, and delivery of freight movements in a fast-paced environment, while maintaining high service standards and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day transport operations, ensuring efficient and timely container movements
• Coordinate dispatchers, drivers, and fleet to meet operational demands
• Manage workflows across multiple transport channels
• Troubleshoot and resolve operational issues in a fast-paced environment
• Monitor performance, reporting on key metrics and identifying improvement opportunities
• Maintain accurate system records and operational documentation

About You

• Proven experience in transport/logistics operations, ideally within containerised freight
• Strong understanding of port and wider supply chain environments
• Previous leadership or supervisory experience preferred
• Highly organised with the ability to manage competing priorities
• Confident communicator with a proactive, solutions-focused mindset
• Strong systems capability, with experience across transport/logistics platforms and Microsoft Office (particularly Excel) highly regarded
