This is an excellent opportunity for a Management Accountant to join a leading business in Christchurch. Working within a large company, the position communicates key financial data to leadership and works alongside the Financial Accountant.

Key Responsibilities

• Preparing monthly management accounts include P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow statements
• Budgeting and forecasting, and performance monitoring
• Providing variance analysis between actual cost and performance
• Conduct product costing to assist with margin and pricing decision making
• Prepare and file tax returns while ensuring compliance with standards

Experience Required:

• CA qualification is beneficial but not necessary
• Strong business partnering skills with the ability to communicate financial insights clearly to non-finance stakeholders
• Proven track record in budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
• Excel and ERP system skills
• Ability to work independently and deliver under tight deadlines
