The Role

You will be responsible for managing international shipments across air and sea freight, ensuring all documentation, compliance requirements, and customer expectations are met.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate import and export shipments from booking through to final delivery.
• Prepare and process shipping documentation, customs, and compliance paperwork.
• Liaise with overseas agents, shipping lines, airlines, customs brokers, transport providers, and customers.
• Track shipments and provide proactive updates to clients.
• Resolve shipment delays and operational issues efficiently.
• Ensure accurate invoicing and maintain up-to-date shipment records.
• Deliver outstanding customer service while managing multiple shipments and deadlines.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

• Previous experience in freight forwarding, ideally coordinating both imports and exports.
• Strong knowledge of international shipping processes and documentation.
• Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise competing deadlines.
• High attention to detail and accuracy.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
• The ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team.
• Experience using freight management systems would be advantageous.
