Our client is seeking an Assistant Accountant to join and support their finance team. This is an excellent opportunity to take on a wide range of responsibilities, from day-to-day accounting tasks to supporting key business decisions.

Your role as the Assistant Accountant will include but not limited to:

• Month-end journals, accruals, prepayments
• Monthly GL reconciliations
• Accounts payable and receivable
• GST, FBT and PAYE
• Ad-hoc duties as required
• Help with system transformation
• Bank reconciliations and cash flow forecasting
• Financial reporting support
• Assisting with monthly management and year-end accounts

To be successful in this role you will have:

• CA/CPA qualified or working towards
• Minimum 2 years’ recent experience at a similar level
