Are you an experienced insurance professional who thrives on navigating complex claims and delivering outstanding client outcomes? We’re seeking a Commercial Claims Consultant to join a high-performing brokerage where advocacy, expertise, and service excellence are front and centre.

About the opportunity
This is a pivotal role supporting commercial clients through the full claims lifecycle. Acting as a trusted advisor, you’ll manage claims across a broad portfolio, ensuring timely resolution while delivering clear, confident guidance to clients during what can often be high-pressure situations.

You’ll work closely with insurers, loss adjusters, and internal stakeholders to achieve fair and efficient outcomes, all while building strong, lasting relationships with clients.

Key responsibilities

  • Manage end-to-end commercial claims, including property, liability, and business interruption
  • Act as the primary point of contact between clients, insurers, and external parties
  • Drive claims progression, negotiating outcomes and advocating for clients
  • Provide expert advice to clients and internal teams on claims strategy and policy interpretation
  • Identify risks, delays, or coverage issues and take proactive steps to resolve them
  • Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with internal processes

About you

  • Proven experience in commercial claims (brokerage, insurer, or underwriting environment)
  • Strong understanding of commercial insurance products and claims frameworks
  • Confident communicator with well-developed negotiation skills
  • Client-focused, with the ability to manage sensitive situations professionally
  • Highly organised with strong attention to detail and the ability to prioritise effectively
