This is a newly developing opportunity for a commercially minded Management Accountant who enjoys getting into the detail, solving problems, and having a genuine impact on how a business operates.

Working closely with the wider finance and operational teams, you’ll play an important role in understanding manufacturing performance, analysing costs and variances, and providing insights that support better commercial decision-making.

Key responsibilities will include:

• Owning the annual budget and rolling forecast process across manufacturing, supply chain and overheads

• Building and maintaining financial models for scenario planning, sensitivity analysis and long-range planning

• Analysing product, customer and channel margin, including standard costing, cost rolls and manufacturing variances, and translating the numbers into commercial actions

• Forecasting inventory, working capital and cash, and partnering with operations on stock levels and production planning

• Preparing capex business cases and modelling the impact of input cost, freight, FX and pricing decisions

• Presenting insight and recommendations to operational and senior leadership, alongside ad-hoc commercial analysis as priorities evolve

Does this sound like you?

• Experience in an FP&A, Commercial Analyst, Cost Accountant or Management Accountant role

• Previous experience within a manufacturing environment

• Excellent problem-solving and analytical ability

• The confidence to work with ambiguity and navigate situations where the answer isn't always immediately obvious

Most importantly, you'll be someone who enjoys rolling up your sleeves and getting involved. This is not a role where you'll be doing exactly the same thing every day.
