Financial Accountant
Location: Christchurch Central, Canterbury

Salary: $90,000 – $110,000 per year

Key Responsibilities:
Support month-end close, including journal entries and financial reporting.
Perform account and bank reconciliations, resolving discrepancies.
Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
Provide financial insights to support business decision-making.
Help improve accounting processes and reporting efficiency.
Ensure compliance with internal controls and audit requirements.
Collaborate with teams across the business for accurate financial input.
About you:
CA qualified (CA ANZ or equivalent) with tertiary qualifications in Accounting
Experience using both Power BI and Business Central
3–5 years’ experience in a finance role, ideally within a chartered accounting firm and commercial environment
Solid understanding of NZ tax legislation
Experience with internal and external audits
Strong commercial acumen and communication skills across all levels
