Our client is a well-established and growing organisation with a strong presence in its market. Due to continued growth and a focus on strengthening its commercial operations, they are looking for an experienced Commercial Manager to join their team.
This is an opportunity for a commercially minded professional who enjoys working across the business, influencing decision-making and turning financial and operational insights into tangible results.
About the role
Reporting into senior leadership, you will play a key role in driving commercial performance and supporting the organisation's continued growth. Your responsibilities will include:
Developing and executing commercial strategies to support business objectives
Providing commercial analysis, insights and recommendations to senior leadership
Monitoring revenue, margins, costs and overall business performance
Identifying opportunities to improve profitability and operational efficiency
Supporting budgeting, forecasting and financial planning
Managing and analysing commercial performance and key KPIs
Building strong relationships across finance, sales, operations and other key stakeholders
Supporting pricing, contracts and commercial negotiations where required
Using data and market insights to identify opportunities and manage commercial risks
Contributing to wider strategic and business improvement initiatives
About you
We are looking for an experienced commercial professional who combines strong analytical capability with excellent relationship-building and communication skills.
You will ideally bring:
Previous experience in a Commercial Manager, Commercial Analyst, Finance Business Partner or similar commercial role
Experience using Power BI and Business Central required
Strong commercial acumen and financial understanding
The ability to interpret complex information and turn it into clear, practical recommendations
Strong Excel and reporting/analytical skills
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
A proactive, solutions-focused approach
Confidence working with senior leaders and influencing commercial decisions
The ability to balance strategic thinking with a hands-on approach
