Management Accountant

Location: Christchurch, Canterbury

Salary: $90,000 – $110,000 per year

About the role:

This well-established organisation is seeking a skilled Management Accountant to join the team and make an immediate impact. Responsibilities include preparing and presenting monthly management reports, supporting budgeting and forecasting processes, and delivering insightful variance analysis to help guide and influence decision making. You’ll work closely alongside key stakeholders to provide high quality financial insight that supports strategy and drives performance outcomes across the organisation.

Key Responsibilities will include:

• Financial reporting and analysis

• Budgeting & forecasting

• Month-end closing

• Maintain fixed assets

• Relationship management and key business partnerships

• Support strategic planning and goals

• Calculation and payment of GST, FBT, and PAYE

About you:

• CA/CPA qualification is preferred

• Strong management accounting and month-end reporting experience

• Confident with budgeting, forecasting and financial analysis

• Commercially minded with strong stakeholder management skills

• Strong systems capability

• Able to communicate financial information clearly to non-finance stakeholders
