Export Operations Coordinator

We're looking for an experienced Export Operations Coordinator to join a busy and supportive team in Christchurch. Working across both air and sea freight, you'll be responsible for managing export shipments from booking through to final documentation, ensuring freight moves efficiently while providing exceptional service to customers.

What you'll be doing:

• Coordinating export air and sea freight shipments from start to finish

• Preparing export documentation and ensuring compliance with international shipping requirements

• Liaising with shipping lines, airlines, transport providers and overseas agents

• Communicating with customers to provide shipment updates and resolve queries

• Managing bookings, rates and export schedules

• Ensuring accurate data entry and maintaining shipment records

• Working closely with internal teams to ensure deadlines are met

What we're looking for:

• Previous experience in export operations

• Freight forwarding experience is highly desirable, but we are also interested in candidates from an export/manufacturing environment

• Knowledge of export documentation and international shipping processes

• Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail

• The ability to prioritise and manage multiple shipments in a fast-paced environment

• A customer-focused approach with strong communication skills
