Salary: $100,000 – $110,000 per year

About the Opportunity

An exciting opportunity has become available for an experienced Business Development Manager to join a well-established and growing organisation.

This is a genuine business development role focused on identifying, engaging and converting new opportunities across a portfolio of medium to large businesses. You will work closely with senior stakeholders and key decision-makers, taking the time to understand their business needs and develop solutions that deliver long-term value.

You will have the opportunity to work across complex sales processes, from opening new relationships and developing proposals through to negotiating commercial agreements and supporting the successful onboarding of new clients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and convert new business opportunities across medium to large commercial clients

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders

  • Develop and manage a strong sales pipeline, ensuring opportunities are actively progressed

  • Prepare and lead tenders, RFPs, proposals and commercial presentations

  • Manage a small portfolio of existing clients, identifying opportunities for account growth and retention

  • Monitor market trends and identify new opportunities for business growth

  • Maintain accurate CRM records and provide regular reporting on sales activity and performance

About You

You will be an experienced B2B sales professional with a proven track record of winning new business and building strong commercial relationships. Experience working with medium to large organisations.

You will be commercially minded, confident in your approach and comfortable managing a sales process from initial prospecting through to close. Strong communication, presentation and negotiation skills are essential, along with a proactive and relationship-focused approach.

Experience with tenders, RFPs and complex sales processes will be advantageous.
