The Financial Analyst will work with the Financial Controller and partner with the business leaders to provide insightful reporting/analysis.

The role will support with the preparation of budgets, quarterly rolling forecasts and reporting to external stakeholders. Communication and engagement within the business will be critical to the role’s success.

Key responsibilities:

• Budgeting/forecasting
• P&L preparation
• Financial modelling
• Month end review with Business Unit managers
• Sales and margin analysis and working with Sales team
• Analysis projects as required
• Analysis and interpretation of results
• Discuss variances and accounting issues with the finance team

About you:

• Mid-tier or Big 4 exposure however this is not critical, as your commercial experience is what will set you apart
• Exceptional interpersonal skills are also required as is the ability to investigate and resolve complex issues.  
• CA / CPA / CIMA qualification with at least 4-5 years’ experience.
• Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Excel ability
• Enjoy working with data and have experience with ERP systems and tools including PowerBI (desirable).
• Background in Management Accountant, Analyst or Finance Business Partnering roles (or similar)
• Be commercially astute and have the ability to communicate across all levels and build rapport quickly
