Our client is a vibrant social hub for members and visitors alike. Throughout the year, this club hosts a diverse range of events, from intimate gatherings to large-scale conferences. This integral position plays a pivotal role in ensuring all events run smoothly and efficiently, while also identifying new event opportunities.
With a supportive team and family-friendly atmosphere, you will also manage the membership database and provide excellent customer service to new and existing members.
They are looking to appoint someone to this exciting new role that will take responsibility for:
- Learning the professional sector and attending events
- Engaging with clients from a business development perspective
- Meet with clients to work out event details, plan with the client and their team
- Work closely with the Operations and Hospitality teams to ensure all customer event packages are delivered fully in line with agreements and expectations
- Utilising the CRM database to manage information
- Liaising with colleagues across the business to assist with projects
Key skills and attributes:
- Communication skills - Must love talking and connecting with people
- Confidence to introduce yourself to anyone and build rapport quickly
- Experience in organising events, taking control of projects from start to finish
You may have gained relevant experience in:
- Hospitality - Functions and business events
- Sales & Marketing – Supporting Managers, Consultants or Account Managers where you were the key person liaising with the client / customer
