Finance Manager

Our client is seeking an experienced and motivated Finance Manager to oversee the organisation’s finance function and lead a broad range of financial operations. This hands-on role will be responsible for ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting, managing cash flow, overseeing payroll, and maintaining effective financial systems and processes. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys taking ownership of the finance function and driving continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities: 

• Oversee the day-to-day finance function, ensuring accurate and timely financial management and reporting.

• Prepare, manage and monitor annual budgets, providing regular reporting on financial performance and variances.

• Manage cash flow, banking, accounts payable and accounts receivable.

• Oversee end-to-end payroll processing, ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant legislation.

• Prepare monthly management accounts, financial reports and reconciliations.

• Coordinate with external accountants to support the preparation of annual financial statements and year-end reporting.

• Maintain effective financial systems, processes and internal controls.

• Ensure compliance with relevant financial, tax and statutory reporting requirements.

• Monitor expenditure, identify opportunities for process improvements and support sound financial decision-making.

• Provide financial insights and advice to management to support planning and the effective allocation of resources.

Skills and experience required:

• A finance or accounting qualification is preferred.

• Proven experience in a similar Finance Manager or Financial Management role.

• Strong communication skills and the ability to build effective relationships with key stakeholders.
