Branch Supervisor

Location: Christchurch, Canterbury

Job Type: Full time

Salary: $75,000 – $85,000 per year

We're looking for a hands-on Branch Supervisor who enjoys working with people, thrives in a fast-paced environment and is keen to develop their leadership skills. If you have a background in trade, strong customer service skills and the drive to help a team succeed, this could be the perfect next move for your career.

With experience across areas such as plumbing, hardware, civil or similar trade environments, you'll play a key role in supporting the team, keeping day-to-day activities running smoothly and ensuring customers receive excellent service.

What You'll Be Doing:

• Supporting the day-to-day running of the branch and helping keep the team on track

• Leading by example, assisting with staff training and providing support where needed

• Building strong customer relationships and helping customers find the right solutions

• Overseeing stock, deliveries and general branch activities

• Maintaining high standards of health and safety, presentation and service

What You'll Bring:

• Experience in trade, building supplies, plumbing, hardware, civil or a related industry

• Strong customer service and communication skills

• Previous supervisory or team leadership experience, or the drive to take the next step

• A practical, hands-on approach with good organisational skills

• A strong focus on safety, teamwork and getting the job done
