Senior Accountant

About the Role

This firm is seeking a Senior Accountant to join their team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with excellent communication skills and desire to progress in their career.  Reporting directly to a Senior Manager, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of clients and will be the given the opportunity to progress within the firm. Someone with a strong background with Xero will be well suited to this role.

The role will involve

• Responsible for managing a portfolio of clients and will be the given the opportunity to progress.
• Review the preparation of financial statements, taxation returns, company trusts, individual and self-managed super funds.
• Work with clients across a range of industries
• Assisting with ad hoc advisory projects
• Developing client relationships
• Supervise junior accountants

Skills & Experience

• CA qualified (or close to completion)
• Excellent communication skills
• Strong work ethic and pro-active mentality
• Ability to work autonomously
• Previous mentoring experience preferred
