About the Role:

Are you a driven and dynamic technical expert with a flair for sales? We're on the lookout for someone like you to join our vibrant enterprise solutions team covering the North Island. As part of our team, you'll collaborate closely with stakeholders ranging from global enterprise solutions suppliers to internal and external account managers, logistics teams, major clients, and solution integrators.

Reporting to the Enterprise Security & Risk Manager, you'll be instrumental in providing top-notch technical support and enablement to our partners. This multifaceted role involves both internal and external functions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical and design support to Wesco Anixter's IAMs and EAMs, Solution Integrators, and end-users.
  • Deliver proactive technical support and training to solution integrators, end-users, and consultants.
  • Collaborate with global solution vendors, integrators, consultants, and end-users to promote integrated solutions.
  • Contribute to business growth and lead the global business locally.

Key Experience and Attributes:

  • Tertiary qualification in technical engineering, electrical engineering, or information technology.
  • 5+ years of experience in security systems or information technology in a national security or corporate environment.
  • Knowledge of the Australian and New Zealand security industry and Wesco Anixter enterprise solutions.
  • Understanding of the PSR framework and relationship management experience across NZL Govt and NZL Govt. Agencies.
  • Project management and security systems installation experience.
  • Comprehensive understanding of the networked IT environment in the IT industry.
  • Electrical engineering knowledge.
  • Tender response and preparation knowledge.
  • Role-specific skills: structured self-starter capable of working in a collaborative and supportive environment.
